Students will explore story-telling, spontaneous performance, and acting technique. They will learn how to apply the 3 rules of improv: Be Fearless, Be Focused, Be Flexible! Each student will build vocal, verbal, and physical confidence. Be ready to play some new games and create some hilarious scenes!

Improv Residency II: Stories On Stage
for Skye Chase and De Novo Students
Students will review & apply the basic developmental tools of improv (Be Fearless, Be Focused, Be Flexible!) to create and perform their own stories. They will build on the collaborative skills learned last semester to create an original story to rehearse and perform on the final day of class. They will also learn basic acting technique, and build their vocal, verbal, and physical confidence. While we will be building on the lessons from last semester, there is no pre-requisite required. New students will catch up quickly!
