Space for Creativity

Wobble Rocket does not work out of a single theatre or rehearsal space. All programs are held at one of 4 super-cool partnering organizations. Sometimes performances are held in other performing arts spaces around town.They are all fun, safe environments that inspire creativity and collaboration!

Convergence Studio (1819 N Quaker Ln Alexandria VA). This is a former school located next to a church; very fun and inspiring! When you arrive, you can park in either the church or the smaller school parking lot. Enter the door next to the playground. There are many rehearsal and classroom spaces in this building, and we place signs pointing you the correct one for each event. Bathrooms are located on the first floor, students should bring their own water or bottle (water accesible in the first floor kitchen). Convergence is near 395 and Shirlington.

Howard Gardener School (4913 Franconia Rd Alexandira VA 22314). This is a small, adorable school. There are 2 buildings: a house-like building on the street, and the new, actual school building behind it. All our events/classes are held in the new school building (the one next to the pet pig's pen). Bathrooms and water are on the first floor. HGS is around the corner from Kingstowne.

Union 206 Studio (350 Calvert Ave Alexandria VA). This is a huge, multi-use series of photography studios- formerly located at 206 S Union St. We've used Union 206 for several events, inluding performances. It's a very cool, creative environment. Bathrooms and water are located on the same floor as the class space. Union 206 is between Del Ray and Potomac Yards.
